However for those of you too impatient to bother Tapegerm is a collective of loop makers and artists that use loops to create music. I discovered it a few months back when I was introduced by Heuristics inc to an event called 24 hour flu. This was a 24 hour online music festival where loops where created, music written using them, and then finally a live stream of the results. All of this whilst chatting in IRC. It was huge fun, and I found that using loops freed me to create in a different way from normal. Honestly it was quite cathartic! I wrote ‘You say I’m wrong‘, which got a good reception.
7 more tracks followed, then the next 24 hour event called G-Day. I created the artwork for it too!

My G-day track is called ‘Happiness‘. Yet another somewhat naieve political ditty I’m proud of.
