Nur Ein 2 - The Sleeper
The sleeper! I’m chuffed with this, though it lacks real drums, and time… And a decent studio… And a band… If I had a band this is the direction I’d like to wander in, though The Floyd were there years ago.
I’m through to round three in joint 4th place; thank the lord…

Floydian Slip?
Much better than ‘Pencil’, lyrically and musically. Though they share one thing - an increasingly loose sense of rhythm. The guitar sound and playing is indeed Gilmouresque, and the vocals have his kind of throatyness.
Unusally long song for you, and for that reason could do with a little more variation, though I don’t know what. The mixing is a bit rough - the lead guitar is loud, and the whole mix would benefit from compression.
I have no idea what the lyrics mean, which is probably as intended. A mood piece not a story.
Oh, you mentioned drums. Quite a lot of them will be on their way to you, as a late birthday present.
